David Groseclose is my husband's great-great grandfather. His great-grandfather is James Richard, brother of William.
The book "Grosecloses and Descendants in America" by B. Clark Groseclose has a lot of information on William & his family. It also has a picture of William and a picture of his descendants taken about 1907.
William was born March 1, 1839 in White River Twp, Johnson Co, IN. He died Aug 13, 1892 in Johnson Co, IN and is buried in Simpson Cemetery. He married Sarah Catherine Henderson Aug 30, 1861 in Johnson Co.
Sarah was born Dec 11, 1844, the daughter of John Henderson and Providence Dyer. She died March 7, 1928 in Morgan Co, IN.
