Joseph Groseclose/David Bittle Groseclose(1800's)

I have found some information about my greatgrandfather, David Bittle Groseclose. He was born in or near Ceres, VA. As a young adult he became a Lutheran minister. His career started in Sharon Luthrean Church in Ceres before a move to SC in about 1900. He served in several churches in SC before his death in about 1932. He is buried in Erhardt, SC beside my grandfather, Paul Bernard.

I am particularly interested in more information about him and his father, Joseph, whom I know very little. I think Joesph is buried at Sharon Lutheran in Ceres. I would love to know what Joseph did for a living.

Thank you for any information and I look forward to corresponding to other Grosecloses.

Raymond Groseclose
