I grew up in Groseclose VA. My mother's family has the surname Smith. I have only been able to trace back as far as my grandfather, Elmer C Smith. I believe my great grandparents' names were Clyde and Bessie Smith. Beyond that, I have no idea. Would like to find out more if anyone has any knowledge of this line of Smiths.
