I realize it is now 2010, but I also have been trying to locate related Gross ancestors, and have happened on Nathan Gross, born 4 Oct 1800, in Orland, Me to Joseph Jr. Gross. He married Clara W. Clark on 26 March 1857 in Orland, Hancock, ME. His brothers as listed are James, Samuel, Joshua, Champlain, Stephen, and William. Could any of this Nathan's brothers, or himself, father a son named Nathan Gross with birth date 1824?
