Yes, I have found that listed on 2 census's. The 1850 like you mentioned, and the 1870 Bath, also lists Lancaster, PA. Info from Tony Popp on Message #74 listed this family started in Berks Co, PA then had a child or two in Lancaster Co. Wonder if the county lines changed or they moved back and forth a bit.
I too come from the Henry Grose line, through William Alexander, his son.
There are a mighty large amount of German names on this side of the family, and I would guess this community in Pennsylvania must have been of strong German origin.
My mom just told me the other day that her father and his 2 siblings along with their mother were all blond-haired, and blue-eyed as well.
