We have just received conclusive dna evidence that matches the Valentine Groom line out of Adams and Wilkinson Co MS to the Enoch Madison Groom line out of Barren and Monroe Co KY. Valentine and Enoch were recorded sons of Robert and Susannah Seward Groom 1750s-1800 in K&Q Co VA. DNA has also established a blood connection to the John Groom SR family out of Spotsylvania Co VA/Louisa/Orange 1750s as well. We are very excited about this development and hope it will inspire other males of the Groom/Grooms/Groome surname to participate in our project. My line is Daniel Grooms b 1823 Fentress Co TN and Elijah Grooms b 1805 KY who is probably his father. We also have a dna blood connection, I just don't know yet where on the family tree.
