I have Jane (Groom) Shelton's bible where she wrote her date of mariage, she and Martin's birhtdates, and the names and birthdates of their eight children. It appears to me that the entries were made at the same time, that it is retrospective, as it incudes the date of Stonewall's death in 1897.
Please let me know if you a copy (4 pdf files). I would rather spread them around than risk their loss in a fire or such.
