I have two Sidwell girls married Groom/Grooms. Samuel Grooms married Ann Sidwell Dec 10, 1829 in Pike Co., MO. Her sister Mary Ann married William W. Groom July 9, 1841 in Pike Co., MO. I have located Ann and Samuel in 1850 census but never have found Mary Ann and William in census. I suspect they moved out of Pike Co., MO but the names are so common, I cannot tell where they went.
Ann and Samuel had children; George W. b. 1833, Elizabeth, 1837, William H., 1840, Rebecca J., 1842, Cynthia E., 1845, Catherine M., 1850.
