I have always been told that my Great Grandmother, whose mother is a Grooms, was Cherokee. Are any of you familiar with an indian line of Grooms? Names are as follows:
Great Grandmother - Nora Harrell b. 1904 Dickson, TN
Grt Grt Grndmthr - Burney or Bernie or Berna Grooms b. 1886 Dickson, TN
Grt Grt Grt Grandfather & Grandmother - John S Grooms - b. 1845, TN & Nancy Ann Gordon - b. 1845
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
