Looking for information on a Solomon Groom who was in Franklin County, MO, in 1836. I have a copy of his will dated August 11, 1836, probated in September of 1836, in which he names his three children, Emily Ann Groom, Granville Overton Groom and Thomas Jefferson Groom. His wife is Elizabeth. I also have Elizabeth's will from mid 1840s. She mentions her step-daughter Emily Ann Armistead. The 1850 census states that Emily was born in Virginia. Emily married Thomas J Armistead in Franklin County, MO, in 1841. Solomon is my 4th gr grandfather.
