I am looking for the father of Isaac Grooms, b abt 1825 TN. Isaac is in Walker Co, TX in 1850, Houston Co, TX 1860 and Grayson Co, TX 1870. He died 1876 in Texas. Isaac's mother was Elizabeth ??? Grooms Thomas. I believe she is the widow of William Grooms, who died in abt 1840, Montgomery Co, Texas. There are other Grooms there (Sanders Groom, died 1838 and Wilmuth Grooms, married James Leaman) but I am not sure how they are connected. I would love to hear from anyone who might have any information about my William Grooms. Thanks so much!
