My name is Angel Lee Crowe....my ancestors added a "e" to the end of my last name when they came over here from Germany...I also just found out that one of my ancestors named "George Philip Groh" born about 1719 from Hesse, Darmstandt, Germany, had two sons named Lorentz Groh and Wilhelm Groh...then a three of his last sons they have their last names spelled "crow"...im not sure if he changed it before they migrated to PA, (or maybe it was WV) not sure.....and it doesnt even state a wife for these children...no marriage what so ever...his son Jacob Crow married a "susan sechrist " when they got to the USA....im also not sure who he brought to the states w/him either...can someone give me help out there..thanx
