John and Eva were married in Crawford County, Ohio and the marriage is listed in the book Crawford County Marriages. Judging from census information this was a second marriage for both individuals as Eva seems to have brought a daughter Rachel McConah to the family and John brought two Grogg children born well before the 1849 (I think...don't have my info in front of me) marriage date. I will get my info together and try to remember to follow this up. I believe I also have a land record for John in Liberty Township. I assume that he moved there and was followed shortly by his brother, Abraham, who settled there permanently. I have not found any other marriage records for John, either in Crawford or Stark Counties...yet.
