Hi Teresa
Jacob Amby Grogg was born Jan.5, 1882; died Jan.4 1943. He is mentioned in Morton's " A History of Pendleton County, West Virginia" p. 208. He is also in the 1910 Census of Sugar Grove district. This Jacob Amby Grogg was my dad's uncle (my dad is still living). The children you mentioned were all first cousins to my dad. This is not the same Jacob I was referring to in my other post but they do appear to be related.

Jacob Amby Grogg was a son of Martin Grogg.

Martin Grogg was a son of John Grogg(this John Grogg born 1803 appears to have been a nephew of the John Grogg who purchased land at Crabbottom in 1803).

John Grogg was probably a son of Philip Grogg.

Philip Grogg was the FATHER of the Jacob Grogg that died in 1855. This is the other Jacob Grogg.

Chuck Grogg
