Patrick,

Thanks for responding. Was your family originally from the Scranton
area? My Cusicks lived in Minooka, which is now part of Scranton.
If the name Cusick is familiar to you, you are probably related.
There is a cousin Patricia Cusick Miller from Detroit that I have been in
contact with. If you don't mind Im going to forward your reply to her. She
is the expert on the Cusicks.
Growing up I always heard stories about the Cusicks from my Mother,
Grandmother and Great Aunts. My Grandparents lived in Old Forge, and I still
have cousins and an Aunt living in the surrounding towns of Scranton.
There is a variation of the spelling, I grew up with the Cusick
version
but Pat Miller always spelled her name Cusack.
Do you happen to remember hearing about a Paddy Grogan who owned
a bar in Minooka or Old Forge? The name Grogan came up often in the family
stories and there is still a Grogan Bar in Minooka.
Tommy Grogan and Ann Cusick had about 7 kids. There son Patrick (
Paddy) was born about 1911 and he is the one that owned the bar ( I think,
not positive of this and also now sure if 1911 is the exact date of birth)
Get back to me.

Thanks again and take care
Patricia
