Grogan's of Henry County VA, Rockingham County NC and Ireland

I am trying to find out information on my Grogan ancestor's from Henry County Virginia, Rockingham County North Carolina and Kings County Ireland.
So far I have:
Bartholomew Jr. Grogan married Lurenia Samantha Smith
son: Daniel Grogan married Jane Smith
son: Francis Grogan married Nancy Stone
son: John W Grogan married Martha Phariss
daughter:Sarah Francis Grogan married George Walter Goins
son: Tom Goins married Minnie Richardson-my Gparents

I am confused on Bartholomew's birth date. I have 1727, but am not sure if this is corrct. I have his father as being Thomas Grogan that married Mary Edwards, but am not sure if this is correct. It gets very confused at this point. I know that Bartholomew was from Kings County Ireland, but know little else. I found most of the family line information through FamilySearch.org-family history and genealogy records.

Any information, stories, or corrections would be greatly appreciated.
