Kathy, I believe we are dealing with the same family. As I have it there were the following children of Henry Groff and ? :Charlotte b. 1792 in Ky., Andrew b Mar 1791 in Ky, Margaret b Jun5, 1797 in KY, Henry b Feb.14, 1799 in Lexington Ky, Thomas b Sept. 6, 1806 in Mo.,Elizabeth b 1810 in Mo., Balsar b. 1811 in Mo.. This is all family info and some of it has not been proven. The story goes that Henry b. in PA went to KY and married we do not know who. The story says he died in St. Louis, but I have not been able to prove that or if these children were born where the story says. Since Thomas is my gggandfather I know more about that family than the others. Thomas married elizabeth Harrison in Franklin Co. Mo. in 1826. The preacher was his brother in law Hugh Barclay who was married to his sister Margaret. Thomas and Elizabeth named their first son Hugh. I will need to do some digging in my files for what I have on the others. If this is of any interest to you let me know.
