My grandfather came from the Netherlands in 1893 with his parents, brothers (including Reinder who was born in 1882) and sisters. They settled in the area of Platte, SD. According to Reinder's obituary, his wife was Jennie and they had a daughter Johanna. One of his grandchildren was Rodney Van Zee!
