Hello! I am working on the Grön Family in Norway because they belong to my ancestors. I posess the book:"Slegten Klaveness i Sandherred i 300 aar" by H.Finne-Grön,publ.1902 in Oslo,Norw. where dates concerning this Grön-family between 1660 - 1902 are printed. Here is an immigration from Sweden-south west area- mentioned. There is also another branch of Grön´s in Trondheim originating about the same time, i.e. abt 1648. dates are to be found in:
www:familysearch.com/search: Grön/Norway.
I suppose a common origin in Sweden: Ulfsund,
Ljung,Göteborg,Sweden in the 1400éds where a
Maren Grön is mentioned, probably descendants of Grön´s in Denmark where a huge
branch of Grö´n`s are to be found. Can anybody help me to find connections? Thanks
