I am wondering if any of you could help me. I am looking for Gross family...the info I have is as follows..
Nora Elva Gross(Groce) m. Arthur K. Nagle..my grandparents (my mother is Nora Nagle-now Johnson.)
I have the Nagle family back to Richard born in Cork Co Ireland-1744...However-the Gross family I can't get any further than William Gross(b.c.1888) who married Molly Thomas(b 1893), and had the following children:
Margaret M. b.c. 1914
William J b.c.1916
Francis Mabel b.1918...m. Zonts..d.Jan 2001
Nora Elva b.30 Sept. 1922 ...m. Arthur Nagle ...d.20 Sept.1989
Martha b. c. 1924
Edna b.c. 1928
Norman b.c. 1929
Willis b. UNK
Gladys b. UNK.(Gladys and Willis I found on Francis Mabel's obit...and also a step brother Elmer)
I only met my grandmother (Nora) once, and I was only 9..she was in Pa, and died shortly after. I've lived in omaha NE my whole life...and then I wasn't trying to find my family history. As for my mother, she only remembers her grandmother's name was Molly, and remembers Aunt Mabel(Francis) and Aunt Martha.
Also I cannot get any info on Molly (Thomas) family.
Any info anyone could provide would be tremendously appreciated.
Melissa
