from Mary Bacon's research files in the Sandusky District Library, a family group sheet titled "Groat, Henry"

TS's - Henry & Mary

However, I know Henry and Mary to be buried in one of our local cemeteries: Speaker Twp Cem, Elk Twp Cem, or the cemetery whose name I forget which is inside Melvin village across from the Baptist Church. And we have the particular cemetery in our records somewhere (I think Speaker Twp Cem), but I just cannot remember what exactly it is that we have so far. This is driving me nuts.
Mary Bacon's reference to the "new" history is just the citation of the History of Sanilac County 1834-1984. I don't know what TS refers to. God save me, but it is probably precisely the source that she used for his death.
Now, she lists Fremont as Mary's burial place, as well. Has this played a part in the search for Mary's grave? I think that we have found it - I cannot find the image of it to save my life now - in Speaker Twp.
