I cannot confirm marriage of Charles GRISWOLD to Mary W. Clark, but his parents were Alfred and Myrtilla (Seixas) GRISWOLD. I know she shows as "Matilda" in 1860 and 1870 census record. Alfred Dunham GRISWOLD was the son of Daniel S. and Mary Ann (Dunham) GRISWOLD. We don't have exact birth date but believe it more likely he was born in New York, where his parents had residence. That being said, Daniel was reportedly residing at St. Marys, Camden Co., GA in 1845.
