Yes, John Thompson Grisham married Katie Vaughn. Their children included: Elijah, Richard, Michael, John, Mary Polly, Elizabeth, Joseph, and Lavina.

Elijah, their son, was born November 25, 1786, in Jefferson, TN and died August 19, 1860 in TN. He married Elizabeth Betsie Terrell (1797-1850) in 1813. Their children were: Thomas R., James Wiley, John M. Richard Elijah, Jane, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Joseph and Martin.

I would love to work with you on any other information you have. This line of Grishams moved into Texas.
