Reply to your inquiry of Grindles from Ireland. My ancestor, Killian listed Ireland as his place of birth in census records. He was born about 1800/1802 and married Susannah Brindle in 1827 in ohio. They moved to Koscuisko Co., IN where he died pre-1860. Wish I had more info but haven't found anything. Perhaps you have come across this name?
Would appreciate a response and would be happy to share any info. on Grindles that I have.
