Just beginning research on John Lewis Grimsley born 30 Oct 1889 in GA and died 18 Oct 1964 in Twiggs Co, GA. He is buried at Prospect Baptist Church cemetery.
He married Tallulah "Lulla" Arbella Fountain on 22 Dec 1912 in Laurens Co, GA; she born 31 Mar 1889 in Dublin, Laurens Co, GA and died 24 Mar 1971 in Twiggs Co, GA. She is also buried at Prospect Baptist Church cemetery.
Children of John Lewis and Lulla are:
Clyde H. Grimsley, b. abt 1915;
Rena Mae Grimsley, b. 8 Oct 1917 in Twiggs Co, GA;
Wilbur L. Grimsley b. abt 1920;
Dorothy M. Grimsley b. abt 1922;
Roy Grimsley b. abt 1930 he married 1. Frances; 2. Lulu.
I THINK the father of John Lewis Grimsley is Henry Grimsley born abt 1850 in GA; he married "Lou" abt 1881 she was born abt 1861 in GA.

William Henry Grimsley b. 1882 GA
Walter Wesley Grimsley b. 1884 GA
James Edward Grimsley b. 1890 GA

I THINK Henry Grimsley is the child of father unknown and mother "Betsy" as I found her living with Henry in the 1900 Census.
