A couple of supplemental observations...

1. Robert was quite possibly named for his great-uncle Robert Grimshaw, whose steam-powered mill with 500 power looms was burned during the social unrest of the time.

2. Slight additional evidence for John and Sarah as the correct candidates - they named their fifth child (second daughter) Sarah.
