Excellent work! I will note the additions to our hypothesis on the webpage (with appropriate caveats, of course).

There is an excellent candidate for Lucretia Grimshaw on Familysearch.org - right age and geography (chr. 24 May 1802 at Newton Heath). Parents Jonathan or Jonah and Margaret (Peggy) Hill Grimshaw. Lucretia is as important a "find" for the Gorton Grimshaw story as Robert! I will add her to the webpage as well.

I suspect Lucretia is descended from a different Grimshaw line, perhaps the Quaker line in Yorkshire - Jonathan is the most common name in that line - see:

http://www.grimshaworigin.org/WebPages/EdwdDory.htm

But Lucretia is not to be found in the descendant chart for that family.

May we correspond by e-mail? Would you be willing to contribute information and/or photos to the webpage on this family line?

Many thanks,
Tom
