I see your family in the 1880 census webpage for NY at the following webpage (entry NYC-10):

If your information is correct, then your Grimshaw "immigrant" family is that of George m. Susan, since George m. Margaret was born in NY.
I have not yet found info to create a webpage on George & Susan. If you have any info, such as photos of your grandmother or her siblings, we could start one...
