Hi there,
I'm one of four kids all blessed with the wonderful surname of Grimmett...I'm afraid I'm only just starting on the whole "tracing your roots" thing but if it helps at all my Grandma and Grandad were called William and Mary Grimmett. My dad is Maurice Grimmett. I will start finding out a bit more and get back to you, dates etc. Oh by the way my dad was brought up in Stockton-on-Tees up north! Dont know if any of this helps but as I say, I'll try and find out more and then get back to you! Until then...
