LILLIAN JOLLIE H. GRIMMER
Lillian Jollie Herring Grimmer, 72, died Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carlisle Funeral Home, with Rev. Stanley Buck, Rev. Tim Andrews and Rev. Rusty Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.
Grimmer was preceded in death by her son Danny Herring, a daughter-in-law Cathy Herring, husbands Robert A. Herring and Earl Grimmer.
She is survived by her son, Larry Herring and wife Kathy of Battleboro; a daughter, Sandra Herring Newton and husband Connie of Greenville; a brother, Joe Jollie of Greenville and a special niece, Theresa Sawyer and husband, Leonard of Greenville; grandchildren, Jon Michael Herring, Denise Newton Garee', Amy Newton Blount, Wendy Herring Chestnut and Kerrie Herring Geiger; great-grandchildren, Morgan Newton Sauls, brandon Fowden, Brittany Geiger, Aaron Geiger and James Harrison Chestnut.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Carlisle Funeral Home and other times at the home of Sandra and Connie Newton, Greenville.
Arrangements by Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro.
