Thanks for your reply. My Grimes Family were in Four Hole Swamp, S.C. in 1850, and in Branchville, Orangeburg cnty, in 1860. I believe they immigrated From Duplin cnty, N.C., sometime in the 1790s. I don't recognize any of the names you mentioned. They could have very well been relatives, but I can't make the connection.
