Could Grigolla be a form of Grijalva?

I am researching the Grigolla family history. This is an extemely rare surname. The earliest ancestor I have found is Gabriel Luna Grigolla born to Gabriel and Pragedes Luna Grigolla in Silver City, New Mexico in 1985. Since there were quite few Grigalva families in that area, I am wondering if at some point one family became Grigolla. Anything sound familiar?
