March 2009 UPDATE
To all descendants of Reverend Gary [Geary, Gerrie, Benjamin, George DAVIS], and descendants of Hill, McGriff, Griggs, Lunford/Lunsford buried in Davis Cemetery No. 2, Cobb County, on Burnt Hickory Road, Cobb County, Scout Christopher Stafford indicates his over two year restoration project on this family cemetery is nearly completion, and will be rededicated in April or May 2009. He invites all descendants of these families to attend this rededication ceremony....
" 'Good news, I am finally finished restoring the cemetery it looks like the rededication ceremony will be sometime in April or May 2009. I have an appointment with a local pastor on the 18th of this month. I am going to try to set
it up for a Saturday afternoon. I will let you know of a
date as soon as I meet with the preacher.
