Rhodum Griggs & Milley Bagley's son Robert Griggs was in Troup County, Ga. in 1830 to 1840, in 1850 he was in Troup County. His wife Martha Ellington Morgan died in Troup County and he remarried in 1858. He remained in Troup County by 1860 but prior to 1870 he removed to Lee County, Alabama.

Robert Griggs made his will on the 22 Nov. 1872.

John W. Griggs is the only proven son of Robert Griggs & he married Sarah DeBelle Ashford. A land record in Troup County states that he was Robert's son.

I've seen one genealogy on the internet which lists these 3 individuals as his children:
1. Lena May Griggs
2. William Newton Griggs
3. Jordan Griggs

Nothing in the genealogy listed on the internet proves these individuals were his children.

In fact, Robert's will proves they were not his children as does the Morgan genealogy which lists the names of Robert & Martha's children. Robert & his second wife had no children together.
