Rhodum S. Griggs' name was spelled Rhodam S. Griggs on his tombstone. He died in 1849 in Arkansas & was married to Charlotte Smith, dau. of Col. Smith. Rhodam S. Griggs was the son of Lee Griggs who died in Hancock County, Ga. in 1807. Rhodam S. Griggs was born in 1796 & died 1849.
He was not the Rhodum Griggs who was married to Milley Bagley. These two men appear as the same person on some genealogies over the internet but that is wrong. They were two different men entirely.
Rhodum Griggs b: c 1765 married Milley Bagley.
Rhodam S. Griggs married Charlotte Smith in Baldwin County.
Please do not confuse the two men as the same person because they weren't. I have done some research on both of these men.
