That is correct! I do descend from Ann who married James Ward. My grandmother and mother are deceased and all of my first cousins on that side are adopted, so I seem to be "winging" this on my own! My uncle, mother's only surviving brother doesn't remember much and is just delighted at all the information I have uncovered for him!

If you ever get the DNA results, would you mind sharing them? I would love to continue the line from Rhodom.

It is a blessing and a curse when one name is carried down so many times. It helps you know you are "traveling" in the right direction but it's very easy to get generations mixed up.

Where are you? Since I am in Georgia, there might be more at the library about Hancock County. I'll let you know if I run across anything.
