Hi.
I own an original copy of "The History Of Woodstock - Genealogies Of Woodstock Families" by Bowen. This is an ultra-rare book (I paid $316.00 for it).
My wife and I have scanned pages 97-260, all pertaining to the GRIGGS family genealogy onto a SEARCHABLE Adobe disc, along with the index from the Griggs portion of that book. We also included another file with the photos from that book, all scanned at 300 dpi so they come out well.
I don't believe anyone has ever attempted an Adobe disc of this book.
Also on that disc is "Genealogies Of The Griggs Family" by Walter S. Griggs. This is also SEARCHABLE!
Further, I've included my own "Griggs Ancestors Of Fame" pages with some of the griggs and related surnames that made history, along with their photo or grave marker if known. (For instance - Robert Fiske Griggs discovered what is now Katmai National Park in Alaska, and named it the Valley Of Ten Thousand Smokes. The highest mountain in the Park was named Mount Griggs and his ashes are buried at the summit, making the mountain a cemetery.)
