Hi. There was a fire at Marshall's Creek, Monroe County, in 1898 with loss of life. A family member, Rosalie (Rosanna) Griggs perished in that fire at 23 years of age. I do not know the date, only the year, and was hoping that someone had details of this fire and/or at least the date and what burned down to help me with my family genealogy. If someone has access to newspaper microfilm from that era (which exists), it would be most helpful. Thank you very much. Bill Griggs, Texas.
