I have a question for anyone searching the genealogy of GRIGGS.
Out of curiosity, does anyone listing relatives from 1494-1820 actually have copies (or originals) of vital records or are they simply copying from someone else?
I'm curious because I''m now seeing the same information, some of it in error, over and over at various genealogy sites.
I only ask because I'm now trying to get research done in England for the date period above and must know if the tiny towns and parishes people are listing are accurate or guesses.
