I am seeking genealogical data on the Hannah Griffen, who lived in the Saratoga District of Albany County, NY in 1779.
Hannah Griffen's name appears on the both the March 2, 1779 and October 23, 1779 Saratoga District Tax Lists.
In October of 1779, Hannah Griffen's farm was assessed at $30.00 (Continental dollars).
Although the tax list does not specifically state her marital status, I assume that Hannah Griffen was a widow.
Any biographical data on Hannah Griffen, her husband, her children, her parents, and her husband's parents will be greatly appreciated.
