I am searching for information on my G.G.++ grandparents who emigrated to Canada around 1837. They were from Ipswich Suffok. Sophia Grieves married Charles Pretty who was a soldier in the army (Royal Artillery - Quebec) in 1837. They had three children in England, William Pretty 1831, Charlotte Pretty, 1832, and Robert Hailye Pretty 1834, and Richard James 1836. I suspect they (Charles & Sophia married around 1829-30?
