Hi Dawn! Sorry for taking so long to respond but I travel and don't get home often to go online. I'm not familiar with who Charles Grieves is but most of the information I've gathered has come from my dad or from the net databases. The other names you mentioned are also unknown to me. My father's name is John Leroy Grieves, his was John Martin Grieves, and his was William Grieves, and his was Barney Grieves, Sr. Barney emmigrated to Ohio (from Ireland or Scotland bet. 1800 and 1820) and his decendants have remained in or near Ross Co., Ohio through-out the 1800's. Any connections?? Let me know. I'm slow to respond but I eventually get there. John
