Jeff, I have just found your information online. My uncle, William Edward Grieve, recently passed away and I am doing some research for his wife and children for a Christmas present to them.
William E. Grieve was born in 1934 in Connellsville, PA, the son of Kenneth R. Grieve and Wilma Kurtz. Kenneth R. Grieve was the son of William M. Grieve born 1891 in PA and died 1968 in PA. William M. Grieve married Vella Jaynes, 1894-1976, daughter of either a Benjamin or James Jaynes and Elizabeth Durbin. William M. Grieve was the son of William Grieve born 1868 in Scotland (near Edinburgh) and died 1939 in Cleveland, OH. The death certificate of William M. Grieve lists his mother as Jane/Jean Spence born in Scotland.
The William Grieve born in 1868 is a brother to your George Grieve. I would definitely like to share more information with you. I can be contacted at margcheney@aol.com
