Henry Griese married Charlotte Tiesmeier on 17 Nov 1857. They had two sons Henry born abt. 1860 in St. Louis, MO and Charles born abt.1865 in St. Louis, MO. Charlotte's husband Henry must have died shortly before or after Charles was borned. I have no record of what happen to him. Charlotte remarried to Fred Franzer (Francis). Fred had a son from a previous marriage named George Franzer. Charlotte and Fred had a daughter named Emelie and a son (my grandfather on my father's side) named Julius Henry Franzer.
1900 census show Charlotte widowed and living with her son Henry Griese. Of course the census read Greasa, but my father told me the last name was Griese and there is a marriage record with the spelling of Griese. Charlotte remarried AGAIN to a Siekermann, Siekmann. Charlotte was born 1838 and died in 1922 I believe. Any inf on these people would be of help. I lost my sister with lung cancer in Feb 2003 and I lost my dad in Feb 2004 before I could tell him who his grandfather was.
