I'm looking for any information related to Marie Ann (Mary?) GRIESE, who married William Sloan KENNEDY (b. Abt. 1868, d. July 23, 1935) in Honey Brook, PA, Chester County. They had 5 chidren:
Winfield Kennedy (b.?, d.?);
William George "Bill" Kennedy (b. January 19, 1899, d. July 1972), he married Leah Florence "Floss", don't know if they had children;
Walter John Kennedy (b. Abt. 1900, d. WW II);
Bena Marie Kennedy (b. December 01, 1902, d. October 12, 1969), she married George Clair SHUPE, from whom my husband is descended;
and Wayne Charles Kennedy (b. September 18, 1904, d. July 1979), who married Virginia "Gin", and had 4 children.
Marie Ann (Mary?) Griese KENNEDY died when Bena was small. (William S. KENNEDY then married Mabel Ethel WILSON, and they had a daughter, Dorothy Irene, who married Ambrose GAUSCH.)
[Note: William George Kennedy's Social Security application listed her name as Mary M. Grice. Wayne C. Kennedy's Social Security application lists her name as Marie Ann Gries. Bena Marie Kennedy lists her name as Maria Gries. A 1937 newspaper article describing the Kennedy and Ebelhar relations to David Jones listed her name as Griese.]
Any information about or connections from this Griese line would be deeply appreciated.
