Looking to find proof of Revolutionary service for Robert Grier who died 1801 in Greene Co. GA. Buried in Old Nelson Place Graveyard, Greene Co. GA. Soldier Reference: American Revolutionary Graves, page 256.
I have this notation in my notes: Reference: Greer Family, Branches That Got to Georgia, by Julian A. Grier, page 6:
"he'd enlisted in the Revolutionary Conflict, after his 1st wife-Catherine Elizabeth died earlier this same year. By June, 1777, Robert Greer Sr. had married Mary.

Does anyone know where this information from Mr. Julian Grier can be verified?

I have DAR approved application for son, Moses Grier, seeking one for his father, Robert Grier, SR.
