My G Grandmother was Gladys Chrystal Grier b. 22 Aug 1887 near Corvallis, OR.
Her parents were John Ephirim Grier and Mary Jane Taylor (called Jennie)...
Siblings were Alberta (a relative insists this should be Albert), Roma, Irma, Eura, Ethel and Homer.
John Ephirim Grier was born on the Oregon trail in 1852. My G Grandmother writes that her mother left her father when she was nine and moved her to Shoshone County, Idaho. Her mother was later remarried yet I believe Gladys remained close with her father, and I have seen a picture of her - after her 1915 marriage in Idaho - at her father's farm. Gladys also makes note of brother Homer's life in Barnesville, OH
I would love to hear from anyone with information connecting to any of these individuals....
