I am Amity Grice Barton. I am the oldest granddaughter of Rembert & Marie (sherman) Grice.
There are 4 children from Rembert & Marie. Adrian (oldest son) Teresa (oldest daughter) Steve, and then Kathy.
All four are still living and have children of their own as listed below:
Adrian Grice (10/10/49)married Rita Bass (1/18/49) April 1977 & have 2 daughters: Amity Grice Barton (7/24/78)(reside in Alvin,Texas) and Jennifer Grice Parish (4/4/1983)(resides in Brandon, MS). My parents reside in Harperville, MS.
Teresa Grice Smith ? married Charles Smith and had 3 children:
Brian Smith (resides in Pearl MS), Daniel Smith (currently in college in Michigan or somewhere up north) and Laura Smith (11/83) resides with Teresa in Pearl MS area. All three children are unmarried. Charles died and Teresa remarried. I am cannot recall her new last name or her husbands name. Teresa knows a good bit about the Grices in Marion county Ms
Steve Grice married Linda ? and had one child Lindsey Grice (married but married name unknown at this time) Lindsey was born April 1st 1983.
Kathy Grice married Mike Rosa. They reside in Fort Worth Tx. They have two children both girls. Their names escape me as we havent seen them in several years.
My Grandfather died a few years ago. I dont remember the exact date as I was in college when it happened and hardly remember going to the funeral in Marion County.
Rembert had several siblings. He was also a school teacher in West point MS for some time.
If i come up with more, Ill add. Its been a long time since i did any geneaology work on the grices.
