I am searching for a Frederick Greve that filed a "Private Claims Report" as one of the heirs of William Mcgehee of McLean County, IL in 1848. He along with Mary McGehee Tovrea (daugther) applied to received the pension monies and bounty land that might be due to William McGehee for his service in the Revolutionary War. The request was denied. I am trying to find the connection between Frederick Greve and William McGehee. Williams daughter Mary was from his first marriage to Unknown.
William McGehee>NC, TN, KY, IL. His second marriage was to Rebecca Satterfield Downs, widow of William Downs and mother to Lawson Downs.
