There is a beautiful old scrapbook from the 1800's. The pictures have names written on the bottom of them. Here is the description the seller gives: ____________________________________________________________ ALBUM of Antique Family Photos CDV tintype A homemade album leatherette/vinyl with sheet protectors, comprising of Greve/Anderson family of NY mostly at the turn of the century. There are 30 antique images; nothing has been added or remove as found, with no documentation except for occaisional names written in ink on borders. There are: 4 tintypes. Images of children. Plastic pages show oxidation over the years on the plastic covering. They have not been tampered with or removed; 10 Carte D'Visite formal portraits in sepia tone; men and women, in embossed border stiff frames bearing emblem of various photo studios; 4 5 X 7" and larger portraits that look to be ca 1920-1940; The rest are very old smaller snapshots ca 1900s. some show a what looks like a family outing in an old brass era car; post card sized photos of same in horse and buggy; beautiful images of period dress.
